Pure undiluted essential oil of LemonGrass, Cymbopogon flexuosus, organically steam distilled from grass cultivated in southern India.
This is the East Indian lemongrass, also known as Malabar grass or Cochin grass, the variety preferred for essential oils and perfumes. The West Indian lemongrass is mostly used in cooking. While both are food-safe oils, this variety contains the finer quality essential oil.
With an intense lemony scent, this oil is used in aromatherapy for its stimulating, uplifting, comforting qualities, to reduce fatigue and depression, and clear the mind.
Composed of 70% Citral (Geraniol and Nerol), and rich in Limonene, lemongrass is highly therapeutic; antimicrobial, antifungal, astringent, improves digestion, repels insects, and helps dissolve excess oils on skin and hair.
