Batana nut oil

Batana nut oil is cold-pressed and fractionated from the kernel of Elaeis oleifera, known as the American Oil Palm, wildcrafted in the tropical rainforests of La Moskita, Honduras.

Unlike most Batana oils, this one is not burned and smoked, but cold-pressed and processed almost entirely by hand to retain the fine nutritive properties for hair and skin. The heavy oil paste is then fractionated to obtain the fine, lightweight oil component that is ideal for use in hair products.

Batana is rich in vitamin E, phytosterols, and carotenoids, which explains why it is famous for promoting lustrous, healthy hair.
