With a regular fetoscope or hand-held doppler, and any timepiece that shows seconds, you can use this form anywhere to chart a gorgeous fetal monitoring strip that rivals any machine printout. Fetal heartbeats are counted in 5-second intervals and marked on the graph. Normal ranges are marked for you, one minute-intervals are also marked, and the fetal heart rate is calculated on the form to correlate with the number of beats per 5-seconds. Spaces for documenting baseline, average, range, reactivity, weeks gestation, etc., and instructions for maximizing your documentation. This makes it easy to demonstrate the variability which indicates fetal wellbeing, important to document if there is a reported decrease in movement, or the client is post-dates.
