Palo Santo essential oil organic

Considered a sacred healing tree by indigenous cultures, Bursera graveolens or Palo Santo essential oil comes from specially prepared logs in Ecuador. Ours is organically steam distilled.

After the tree dies, it must be aged for years to drive the oil deep into the heartwood where its special properties develop. It is similar to Sandalwood in sweetness and complex rich soft aroma, as well as its uses in healing for mind and body. The scent is very long-lasting, and makes an excellent sweet fixative for more volatile oils.

Suitable for a stand-alone perfume as well as enriching and adding lasting power to blends. 

Often used for aromatherapy and meditation, or as an incense for scenting the home.
