Oakmoss absolute oil

Oakmoss absolute is a very thick organic extraction of the dark green Usnea lichens Evernia prunastri growing on oak trees near the French Mediterannean. This oil is IFRA-compliant (low Atranol content - below 100 ppm) to prevent any risk of skin sensitization. 

Oakmoss lends a powerful base note fixative to any essential oil blend, a scent described as "faerie wood"; a deep mossy earth aroma that forms the basis for many fine perfumes for both men and women, including the entire chypre family, "leather" scents, and many oriental blends. It blends well with citrus, sweet exotic and romantic florals, vanilla, and resins like labdanum and amber.

Oakmoss is cooling and soothing, often used for easing inflammation in skin and muscles, and in aromatherapy for calming rage and suppressed anger.
