Clary Sage essential oil

This Clary Sage smells much different to me than the MLM brands. This has a citrus /lavender note reminiscent of Bergamot, less woodsy than how I remembered it. Silver Sage oils often smell more "clean and clear" compared to an MLM oil. It is interesting to me that all companies claim "steam distilled" and yet do not have the crisp purity I find in Silver Sage products!!
